The Amazone register
The Amazone pack draws on the Bois de Boulogne and Rotten Row, 1840 — the amazone in a black wool habit cut by a man's tailor to fit like a glove, a top hat with a green veil floating behind, a whip, a side-saddle. The value is the one costume in which a woman of the period could look like a blade.
