The Blue Note Album Cover register

This pack draws on Blue Note's classic sleeve — Reid Miles's typography over Francis Wolff's flash: the face in cigarette smoke, a third of the frame a field of solid colour, Futura Bold set like part of the photograph. Three genuine facets carry it: the classic high-contrast black-and-white cover in smoke, the colour duotone sleeve with the trumpet, and the street sleeve under a rainy streetlamp.

Photographically the register is Wolff's hard flash and smoke for the classic frame, a flat duotone tint for the colour sleeve, and a tinted night exposure with wet asphalt for the street frame — tight crops, the type composed into the picture rather than added over it.

The output is photoreal — a real-looking photograph of you in that world, styled with the sleeve's graphic treatment, not a painting. It's a costume-and-set portrait; Blue Note is referenced as a visual style, not an official release, and the pack carries no affiliation with or endorsement by Blue Note Records.
