A Cleopatra Photoshoot

Nine photos of you in one setting

How your model is created from your photos

Every pack on Narcis, made with your face

Nine photographs of you in one setting: one pack of the Narcis catalogue.

Nine photographs of you, styled after documented Cleopatra iconography — white pleated linen and the vulture collar on the royal barge, a gown of gold scales in the basalt throne hall, wet-braided gold in the alabaster bath, in portrait format. The nine vary in crop, expression and light, so there are real choices, not nine identical files.

The Cleopatra register

This pack draws on two sources at once: Alma-Tadema's marble-and-gold vision of Ptolemaic Alexandria, and the 1963 Hollywood spectacle that fixed Cleopatra's image for a century — the barge on the Nile, the basalt throne hall, the milk bath. The value is an Egyptian queen photoshoot built on the queen's own documented iconography, not a generic Egyptian costume guess.

Photographically the register runs low Nile sun and gilded reflection on the barge, torch-lit basalt symmetry in the throne hall, and noon alabaster glare at the bath; the palette holds white pleated linen, basalt black, lapis, gold and rose petal against skin. The vulture collar, the double uraeus, the straight black wig with gold rings, and kohl to the temples carry the silhouette in every frame — everything gold is allowed to be more gold.

Three looks carry the pack: reclining on leopard skin in white linen and the vulture collar on the royal barge at dusk, seated on a lion-footed throne in a gown of gold scales for the basalt hall, and wet-braided in a sunken alabaster pool of milk and lotus. The output is photoreal — a real-looking photograph of you as the queen, not a painting lifted from Alma-Tadema's canvas. It's a costume portrait; it isn't a depiction of Cleopatra herself, and it doesn't claim to be.

How to photograph yourself for a Cleopatra photoshoot

Better source photos make better portraits.

  1. Even, soft lightStand near a window with indirect daylight on your face. The pack builds its own barge, hall and bath light on top — a flat, well-lit selfie gives it the clearest face to work from.
  2. Front or three-quarter angleCamera at eye level, facing it or turned slightly to three-quarter. No selfie-stick uplook, no shot from below.
  3. Face fully clearHair off the face, no hats, sunglasses, or filters in the source photo. A clear, front-facing photo is the best input for an AI portrait.
  4. A composed, regal expressionCleopatra's register favors a level, assured gaze over a big grin — a calm expression in your source photo blends more naturally into the throne-room frames.
  5. Plain background is fineDon't worry about your own backdrop — the pack's three settings replace it entirely. A plain wall behind you just helps the model focus on your face.

Frequently asked questions

Will it actually look like a real photograph?
Yes. The output is photoreal — a period-accurate photograph, not a painting or an illustration — built from documented details of the Cleopatra register: pleated white linen and the vulture collar on the royal barge, the gown of gold scales in the basalt throne hall, and the settings that carried them.
Is this a real photo of Cleopatra, or of me?
It's a portrait of you. The pack borrows Cleopatra's documented wardrobe, jewelry and settings as a costume and visual reference; every frame is a portrait of you and doesn't depict Cleopatra herself.
Can men use this pack?
The styling and sample set are built for women — the vulture collar, the gown of gold scales, the wig among them — so it reads feminine.
Can I use this as a profile picture or on a dating app?
Yes — it's a striking, well-composed portrait that reads well on either. Used honestly, as a stylised AI photoshoot rather than a claim of an actual royal shoot, it works well on any profile.
Can I use it for a themed party invitation or gift?
Personal use like this is fine — an invitation, a themed photoshoot, a keepsake print. It isn't licensed for commercial resale.
Do I need actual Cleopatra jewelry or a wig for this to work?
You don't need any of it in real life; that's what the photoshoot supplies.
Will the photos look like me?
Every photo looks like you, well photographed. If one is nearly right, say what to change, in your own words.
Do I have to write a prompt?
No. There is nothing to write: you pick a pack, and it is ready in seconds.
How many photos of myself do I add?
Between six and twenty, from different days and in different light, with your face clear. We check each one when you add it.
What happens to the photos I add?
They are used only to create your model, on our own servers in the European Union. They are not shared and not sold.

About narcis

Most AI photo tools put every pose, job, era, and style in one giant catalog. The photos all look like every other AI photo on the internet — a glaze over a stock face. Narcis goes the other way. One job: photos of you that look like photographs. You add at least 6 photos of yourself, and we create your AI model from them. Your photos are ready in a few hours, and we email you when they are. Then this pack and every other pack on Narcis can be made with your face. Each pack is curated against real references — paintings, photographers, places — and tested on real faces before it goes live. Built and run by one small team, on our own servers.
