The Colmar register
This pack draws on Colmar's Little Venice in December — half-timbered houses in ochre and rose over the Lauch canal, wreaths on every window, markets across five squares, vin chaud and bredele, a boat of lights under the bridges.
Photographically the register treats the fairytale town as illustration: the timbers drawn-sharp, the lights painted-warm, a red cape as the story's centre against ochre and rose.
