Part of the house's camaïeu series, The Fog Trail carries green across a conifer forest — black-green spruce, velvet moss, a technical shell, the fog's own tint — a whole trail dyed to one colour from sky to root.

The register runs head-and-shoulders (a bottle-green shell's collar, a green cap, the braid wet with fog, diffuse light from everywhere), three-quarter (the running vest over the shell, one hand on a knee, moss on the trunk beside her), and wide (the trail through the spruce, the fog at ten metres, her running toward the vantage in green, small, the forest's own colour moving). The vest's straps are the silhouette; the hand on the knee the gesture.
