A Freya Photoshoot
Nine photos of you in one setting
How your model is created from your photos
Every pack on Narcis, made with your face
Nine photographs of you in one setting: one pack of the Narcis catalogue.
Nine photographs of you, styled after Freya, goddess of the Brísingamen — a green gown with the amber necklace beside her cat-drawn chariot in a birch forest, a white dress on a high seat in the hall of Fólkvangr, a falcon-feather cloak at a fjord dusk, in portrait format. The nine vary in crop, expression and light, so there are real choices, not nine identical files.

The Freya register
This pack draws on Freya, goddess of the Brísingamen, as the sagas describe her: the necklace of amber and gold, the cloak of falcon feathers, the chariot drawn by cats, the hall of Fólkvangr. The value is the north's one warm colour — amber light running through every look.
Photographically the register runs autumn birch light through leaves, warm firelight in a timbered hall, and violet dusk over a still fjord — the palette holds amber, gold, green, and birch white throughout, so the three looks read as one goddess across three real moments of her myth.
Three looks carry the pack: standing beside her cat-drawn chariot in a birch forest with the Brísingamen at her throat and red-gold hair loose; seated on a high seat in the hall of Fólkvangr with a cat on her lap and mead in hand; and at a violet fjord dusk in the falcon cloak, arms half-lifted as if to fly.
The output is photoreal — a real-looking photograph of you in that world, not a painting or an illustration. It's a costume portrait; it isn't a depiction of a real person, and it doesn't claim to be.
How to photograph yourself for a Freya photoshoot
Better source photos make better portraits.
- Even, soft lightStand near a window with indirect daylight on your face. The pack builds the birch forest's amber light or the hall's firelight on top — a flat, well-lit selfie gives it the clearest face to work from.
- Front or three-quarter angleCamera at eye level, facing it or turned slightly to three-quarter. No selfie-stick uplook, no shot from below.
- Face fully clearHair off the face, no hats, sunglasses, or filters in the source photo. A clear, front-facing photo is the best input for an AI portrait.
- A composed, radiant expressionThe Freya register favors a warm, assured look over a big grin — a calm, open expression blends more naturally into the amber-lit frames.
- Plain background is fineDon't worry about your own backdrop — the pack's three settings replace it entirely. A plain wall behind you just helps the model focus on your face.
Frequently asked questions
- Will it actually look like a real photograph?
- Yes. The output is photoreal — not a painting or an illustration — built from the documented register: the amber-and-gold Brísingamen, a falcon-feather cloak, red-gold hair, rendered as photographs.
- Is this a real depiction of a Norse goddess, or of me?
- It's a portrait of you. The pack borrows Freya's saga imagery as a costume and visual reference; every frame is a portrait of you and makes no claim of a real being.
- Can men use this pack?
- The styling and sample set are built for women — the gown, the Brísingamen, the falcon cloak among them — so it reads feminine.
- Can I use this as a profile picture or on a dating app?
- Yes — it's a striking, well-composed portrait that reads well on either. Used honestly, as a stylised AI photoshoot rather than a claim of a real shoot, it works well on any profile.
- Can I use it for a themed party invitation or gift?
- Personal use like this is fine — an invitation, a themed photoshoot, a keepsake print. It isn't licensed for commercial resale.
- Do I need real amber jewelry for this to work?
- You don't need any of it in real life; that's what the photoshoot supplies.
- Will the photos look like me?
- Every photo looks like you, well photographed. If one is nearly right, say what to change, in your own words.
- Do I have to write a prompt?
- No. There is nothing to write: you pick a pack, and it is ready in seconds.
- How many photos of myself do I add?
- Between six and twenty, from different days and in different light, with your face clear. We check each one when you add it.
- What happens to the photos I add?
- They are used only to create your model, on our own servers in the European Union. They are not shared and not sold.

About narcis
Most AI photo tools put every pose, job, era, and style in one giant catalog. The photos all look like every other AI photo on the internet — a glaze over a stock face. Narcis goes the other way. One job: photos of you that look like photographs. You add at least 6 photos of yourself, and we create your AI model from them. Your photos are ready in a few hours, and we email you when they are. Then this pack and every other pack on Narcis can be made with your face. Each pack is curated against real references — paintings, photographers, places — and tested on real faces before it goes live. Built and run by one small team, on our own servers.
