The Glinda register

This pack draws on Oz from the pink side: the bubble descending over Munchkinland, the Shiz dormitory in ruffles, the crown of stars. Pink held as a state of mind — tulle in twelve tones of it, a soap-bubble iridescence, sugar light with no shadow to hide in.

Photographically the register runs a ballgown of layered pink tulle with a corseted bodice, the silver star crown, a wand, a pink Shiz uniform with a bow, blonde hair in soft curls. Three takes carry the pack: inside the soap-bubble descent over Munchkinland, the pink Shiz dormitory, and the balcony at the coronation with petals falling.
