The Istanbul marble grey register
A hamam from the Sinan era in Istanbul is built of stone throughout: a heated navel stone at the centre, marble basins along the walls and a dome pierced with glass stars that scatter light down through the steam. The cool hall off the warm room is where a therapist rests between treatments. The grey of this pack is the veined marble and the lead roof above it, and a portrait in that colour reads as a therapist dressed in the stone of her hamam.
Photographically this is marble grey on grey: one soft grey for garment and stone, separated by the veining of the marble, the linen's weave and the silver of the steam rather than by contrast of colour. The tunic is a grey linen with a collarless neck over pale grey, and the face is the only other colour. Three settings carry the pack: before the grey marble wall of the cool hall with a marble basin's curve beside her, under the dome by the navel stone's edge with one hand on the warm marble and the steam rising, and at half-length at the hamam's entrance with the grey lead roof and the lane behind.
The output is photoreal: a real-looking photograph of you in the grey of the marble.
How to photograph yourself for marble grey hamam portraits
An ordinary selfie is enough. A few habits sharpen the likeness before the stone and the glass light go on top.
- Even, soft lightStand near a window with daylight on your face. Avoid overhead bulbs and phone flash.
- Front or three-quarter angleCamera at eye level, facing it or turned slightly. No shot from below.
- Face fully clearHair off the face, no sunglasses and no heavy filters. A clear, front-facing selfie is the best start.
- A natural expressionA relaxed, genuine look carries over best into all three settings.
- Plain background is fineThe pack replaces your backdrop, so a plain wall is enough.
Frequently asked questions
- Will they look like real photographs?
- Yes. Every photo is photoreal, a real-looking photograph of you.
- Is this pack for women?
- Yes. The tunic and styling are cut for women, so the pack reads that way. Other packs on Narcis suit other looks.
- How is this different from a generic AI headshot?
- Most generic tools default to one flat studio backdrop. This pack builds one marble hall across three different settings.
- Can I use it for a studio website or a professional profile?
- Yes, that is the pack's use: a profile, a website, a directory listing or a printed card. Check the terms before any resale of the images.
- Do I need several photos or is one enough?
- One clear, front-facing photo is enough. Even light on your face gives the clearest likeness.
- What if my photo is not great?
- Retake it in soft window light with your face fully clear. Light does more for the likeness than any other fix.
- What happens to the photo I upload?
- It is processed on servers in Frankfurt to generate your portraits.
- Who is shown in these images?
- Every image is AI-generated from your own face, which you chose to use. The pack is for adults aged 18 and over.
- Will the photos look like me?
- Every photo looks like you, well photographed. If one is nearly right, say what to change, in your own words.
- Do I have to write a prompt?
- No. There is nothing to write: you pick a pack, and it is ready in seconds.
- How many photos of myself do I add?
- Between six and twenty, from different days and in different light, with your face clear. We check each one when you add it.
- What happens to the photos I add?
- They are used only to create your model, on our own servers in the European Union. They are not shared and not sold.

About narcis
Most AI photo tools put every pose, job, era, and style in one giant catalog. The photos all look like every other AI photo on the internet — a glaze over a stock face. Narcis goes the other way. One job: photos of you that look like photographs. You add at least 6 photos of yourself, and we create your AI model from them. Your photos are ready in a few hours, and we email you when they are. Then this pack and every other pack on Narcis can be made with your face. Each pack is curated against real references — paintings, photographers, places — and tested on real faces before it goes live. Built and run by one small team, on our own servers.
All images are AI-generated. By using this service, you confirm you are 18+, that any face photo you upload is your own or used with explicit consent. Full Terms
