The Chestnut Green register
Kyiv in May: chestnuts in flower along the boulevards, a green-painted building from the 1900s with green doors and panelling, and the Dnipro's green banks. The palette is green on green. The canopy, the cotton and the painted panel share one family, and the face is the only other colour in the frame.
