The Waterfall Valley register
Lauterbrunnen is a glacial valley in the Bernese Alps. In May the meadows are green with dandelion, waterfalls drop white down the cliff walls, and snow still sits on the peaks. The valley has two colours and the pack takes them both: a green cotton dress for the meadow and a white knit for the falls and the snow, with green the heavier of the pair.
