The Lestat register
This pack draws on Anne Rice's Lestat — 1791 New Orleans, the brocade frock coat over a lace jabot, the Pontalba balcony at night, the townhouse harpsichord, and the cemetery's raised tombs. The register is old New Orleans vampire: brocade, lace, long blond hair.
Photographically it runs lamp-key on the balcony, candle-key at the harpsichord, and moonlit fog among the tombs; the palette is brocade gold, black, burgundy and candle.
Three takes carry the pack: the brocade coat and lace jabot on the balcony at night with one hand on the iron rail, a black velvet coat at the harpsichord by candlelight, and a burgundy silk robe among the raised tombs with a goblet held as an attribute — three real scenes from the character, not one look in three rooms.
