The Lisbon azulejo register
Lisbon's Pombaline buildings have stairs and facades tiled in azulejo, blue and white glazed tile laid in repeating squares, above white plaster. The Tagus throws a bright hazy light up the streets and a tram bell carries down them. The pair of colours in this pack is that tile, and a portrait in those two colours reads as someone who wears the stair of a house she works in.
Photographically this is blue and white as a pair at matched saturation, with white carrying the greater weight: white plaster and a white linen tunic, then the tiles' cobalt in a wool scarf. No third hue is added. Three settings carry the pack: before the azulejo wall of the practice with the white plaster above and the window's hazy light, on the tiled stair with one hand on the iron rail and the pattern close, and at half-length at the building's tiled door with the white facade and the river's glint behind.
The output is photoreal: a real-looking photograph of you in the blue and white of the stair.
How to photograph yourself for azulejo blue and white portraits
An ordinary selfie is enough. A few habits sharpen the likeness before the tile and the light go on top.
- Even, soft lightStand near a window with daylight on your face. Avoid overhead bulbs and phone flash.
- Front or three-quarter angleCamera at eye level, facing it or turned slightly. No shot from below.
- Face fully clearHair off the face, no sunglasses and no heavy filters. A clear, front-facing selfie is the best start.
- A natural expressionA relaxed, genuine look carries over best into all three settings.
- Plain background is fineThe pack replaces your backdrop, so a plain wall is enough.
Frequently asked questions
- Will they look like real photographs?
- Yes. Every photo is photoreal, a real-looking photograph of you.
- Is this pack for women?
- Yes. The tunic and styling are cut for women, so the pack reads that way. Other packs on Narcis suit other looks.
- How is this different from a generic AI headshot?
- Most generic tools default to one flat studio backdrop. This pack builds one tiled world across three different settings.
- Can I use it for a practice website or a professional profile?
- Yes, that is the pack's use: a profile, a practice website, a directory listing or a printed card. Check the terms before any resale of the images.
- Do I need several photos or is one enough?
- One clear, front-facing photo is enough. Even light on your face gives the clearest likeness.
- What if my photo is not great?
- Retake it in soft window light with your face fully clear. Light does more for the likeness than any other fix.
- What happens to the photo I upload?
- It is processed on servers in Frankfurt to generate your portraits.
- Are the people in these images real?
- Every image is AI-generated, and the face is your own, by your choice. The pack is for adults aged 18 and over.
- Will the photos look like me?
- Every photo looks like you, well photographed. If one is nearly right, say what to change, in your own words.
- Do I have to write a prompt?
- No. There is nothing to write: you pick a pack, and it is ready in seconds.
- How many photos of myself do I add?
- Between six and twenty, from different days and in different light, with your face clear. We check each one when you add it.
- What happens to the photos I add?
- They are used only to create your model, on our own servers in the European Union. They are not shared and not sold.

About narcis
Most AI photo tools put every pose, job, era, and style in one giant catalog. The photos all look like every other AI photo on the internet — a glaze over a stock face. Narcis goes the other way. One job: photos of you that look like photographs. You add at least 6 photos of yourself, and we create your AI model from them. Your photos are ready in a few hours, and we email you when they are. Then this pack and every other pack on Narcis can be made with your face. Each pack is curated against real references — paintings, photographers, places — and tested on real faces before it goes live. Built and run by one small team, on our own servers.
All images are AI-generated. By using this service, you confirm you are 18+, that any face photo you upload is your own or used with explicit consent. Full Terms
