A Liv Ullmann Photoshoot, Fårö Style
Nine photos of you in one setting
How your model is created from your photos
Every pack on Narcis, made with your face
Nine photographs of you in one setting: one pack of the Narcis catalogue.
Nine photographs of you, styled after Liv Ullmann's documented Fårö world — a wool sweater on a stony beach, a white cotton nightdress at a cabin window, a fisherman's coat in a rowing boat, in portrait format. The nine vary in crop, expression and light, so there are real choices, not nine identical files.

The Liv Ullmann register
This pack is one of Icônes' documented-shoot series — fashion icons and the photographs that made them — the world of European cinema women, anchored on Bergman's Fårö — the wool sweater on the stony beach of Persona in 1966, the Sven Nykvist window light of the cabin — the most inward face of European cinema, in the island that filmed it.
The register is Nykvist's flat Nordic overcast black-and-white: a heavy wool sweater on grey stone, a white cotton nightdress at a single window, a fisherman's coat in a rowing boat.
One frame stands her on a stony beach among weathered rauk stones, a wool sweater with sleeves pulled over the hands. A second stands her at a cabin window in a white cotton nightdress, one hand flat on the glass. A third seats her in a wooden rowing boat, oars shipped, a headscarf knotted under the chin.
The output is photoreal — a real-looking photograph of you in that world, styled like a film still — not a painting or an archival reproduction. It's a costume portrait; it isn't a depiction of the historical figure herself, and it doesn't claim to be.
How to photograph yourself for a Liv Ullmann photoshoot
Better source photos make better portraits.
- Even, soft lightStand near a window with indirect daylight on your face. The pack adds its own period-accurate light later — a flat, well-lit selfie gives it the clearest face to build from.
- Front or three-quarter angleCamera at eye level, facing it or turned slightly to three-quarter. No selfie-stick uplook, no shot from below.
- Face fully clearHair off the face, no hats or filters in the source photo. A clear, front-facing photo is the best input for an AI portrait.
- A composed expressionThe register favors a held, deliberate look over a big grin — a calm expression in your source photo blends more naturally into the frames.
- Plain background is fineDon't worry about your own backdrop — the pack's settings replace it entirely. A plain wall behind you just helps the model focus on your face.
Frequently asked questions
- Is this a real photo of Liv Ullmann, or of me?
- It's a portrait of you. The pack borrows the documented Fårö and Persona world as a visual reference; every frame is a portrait of you and doesn't depict the actress herself.
- Will it actually look like a real photo, and like that island?
- Yes on both. The output is photoreal, and the flat Nordic overcast and the single-window interior light are built to read as the genuine Bergman-Fårö register, not a generic beach filter.
- Can men use this pack?
- The styling and sample set are built for women, so it reads feminine.
- Can I use it for a themed party invitation or photo shoot?
- Personal use like this is fine — an invitation, a themed shoot, a keepsake print. It isn't licensed for commercial resale.
- Will the photos look like me?
- Every photo looks like you, well photographed. If one is nearly right, say what to change, in your own words.
- Do I have to write a prompt?
- No. There is nothing to write: you pick a pack, and it is ready in seconds.
- How many photos of myself do I add?
- Between six and twenty, from different days and in different light, with your face clear. We check each one when you add it.
- What happens to the photos I add?
- They are used only to create your model, on our own servers in the European Union. They are not shared and not sold.

About narcis
Most AI photo tools put every pose, job, era, and style in one giant catalog. The photos all look like every other AI photo on the internet — a glaze over a stock face. Narcis goes the other way. One job: photos of you that look like photographs. You add at least 6 photos of yourself, and we create your AI model from them. Your photos are ready in a few hours, and we email you when they are. Then this pack and every other pack on Narcis can be made with your face. Each pack is curated against real references — paintings, photographers, places — and tested on real faces before it goes live. Built and run by one small team, on our own servers.
