The Linen Deck register

A classic wooden sailing yacht lies off the pink granite coast of north-east Sardinia in June, with a teak deck, white sails furled, polished brass and a turquoise cove beyond. The pack dresses you in the colour of the sail: a white linen shirt, white linen trousers, a white cashmere knit over the shoulders and white suede loafers.
