A Helsinki design house keeps a white-walled printing hall, and in May its bolts of the great poppy print hang from the ceiling in the colours of the 1964 cloth: red, pink, orange and white. The pack puts the textile designer there, wearing the flower she drew in a plain shift dress, against the same flower hung the height of the room.

She stands head and shoulders before a hanging bolt, its poppies large and soft behind the face and the neckline plain. She is chest-up between two bolts with red on one side and pink on the other, and half-length down the printing hall with the bolts receding.
