The Capping register
The capping is the nursing college's rite of passage: the graduate's first white uniform, the cap pinned on by a senior nurse, a lit candle held in the chapel. The register is one white. The starched cotton of the uniform, the cap's winged fold, the chapel's white columns and its plastered walls sit in a single value, and the face is the only other colour in the frame.
