This pack draws on Christ Church Spitalfields, 1996 — the Dante show: black lace and jet by candle, the churchyard at dusk in a frock coat, the crypt stair. The register is black on black: a black lace gown with a high collar and jet beading, a black frock coat with a lace jabot over tailored trousers, a black satin corset dress, a skull-print mask as attribute, black gloves. It is a gothic couture photoshoot built on one of fashion's most-referenced runway shows.
