The McQueen VOSS register
This pack draws on Alexander McQueen's Spring 2001 VOSS show — fashion staged as a padded cell: a mirrored box, two-way glass, a gown of razor-clam shells, a red ostrich-feather finale, moths at the end. The value is the asylum as a jewel box, the model the exhibit.
Photographically the register is clinical white against mirror, hard key light from below and above. The palette runs clinical white, mirror, oyster grey, ostrich red, moth brown.
