The Green Island register
The Arabs called this island the green island: hills of clove and mango, mangrove channels of green water, deep reefs off the coast and a research station built on stilts over a channel. The pack puts the marine biologist there, in a sea-green linen blouse under a deep green cotton jacket, green in every value from pale channel water to deep canopy.
