The Ranch in Indigo register

The designer's own cattle ranch in the Colorado mountains is a log-and-stone lodge, sagebrush, aspens turning, a split-rail fence and mountains blue in the distance. The pack borrows his western line in indigo: a dark denim jacket over a lighter chambray shirt and raw indigo jeans, with a leather belt and boots. The blue deepens at every layer, from faded chambray to raw dark denim.

Three settings carry the nine photographs. Before weathered grey timber, the denim collar and the chambray's open neck sit in hard, clear mountain sun with the shadow side crisp. At the split-rail fence, one boot rests on the lower rail and one hand on the top, the western yoke and raw jeans in dark relief. In the wide view, at half-length, sagebrush, aspens and blue mountains stand behind him under a deep sky.
