The Avenue of Reform register

The capital's great avenue runs as a line of grey glass towers along a boulevard of palms and bronze statues, with a gold angel on a column at its roundabout and grey volcanic stone underfoot. The high-plateau light turns the glass pale. The pack puts the banker on that avenue, with the angel's gold held down to values so the grey stays in charge.
