AI Roussillon Ochre Generator — Free Preview, Then Train Your Model

Train Your Model Once, Render Roussillon Ochre in About Ten Seconds

Studio-Quality Results Without a Studio Visit

Narcis generates a free preview of your roussillon ochre from one uploaded photo. The preview streams in seconds — a quick sketch, close but not you yet. If you like it, train your model once — 12 to 20 photos, we email you when it's ready — and the full pack of nine is €9,99, rendered from your model in about ten seconds a portrait. No signup before the preview, and no waiting for an email until you choose to train.

The pack is nine professional roussillon ochre rendered in portrait aspect ratio (2:3) — the shape LinkedIn banners, CVs, and print profiles actually use. Each image shows varied crops, expressions, and light angles so you have real choices, not nine identical files.

Photos are processed on European servers. We use your photo to generate your headshots; we do not share it with third parties.

The Roussillon Ochre register

Roussillon in the Luberon coloured Provence's façades until 1930 — the quarries, the Sentier des Ocres' cliffs running seventeen shades from yellow to blood, a village washed in the pigment quarried below it. This pack dresses the sitter in the quarry's own ochre and sets her among the cliffs and the village walls that carry it, the cliff and the coat one colour.

The wardrobe is Provençal autumn editorial in raking light — a golden-ochre linen dress with an orange-ochre wool shawl, an ochre corduroy jacket over a rust knit and ochre trousers, a burnt-ochre silk slip dress under a work apron of the same tone; hair loose, sun-warmed. The palette runs yellow ochre, orange ochre and red ochre, with sienna and one white shutter for accent.

Tone on tone is the whole discipline here, and it is harder than it looks: when the garment and the ground share a hue, nothing separates them but texture, sheen and the direction of the light. Low afternoon sun rakes a cliff's crumbled face into deep relief while linen hangs in a few soft folds; corduroy's wales read against a wall's chalky lime wash; silk's sheen and wet pigment's dark gloss both flash while dried troughs stay a dead powder. Three takes carry the pack — on the cliff path with the eroded pinnacles behind, seated on a village step with a paper cone of pigment, at the old ochre works among drying troughs — and in each one your face is the only other colour anyone can look at.

The output is photoreal: a real-looking photograph of you in that world, built from your own uploaded face. It isn't a documented photograph of Roussillon with you inserted into it, and it isn't a painting. The pack borrows the quarry's colour, its raking light and the wardrobe that suits them as costume and reference, the way a stylist borrows a mood board.

How to photograph yourself for a Roussillon Ochre photoshoot

Better source photos make better portraits. The pack works with an ordinary phone selfie — the free preview tells you in seconds — but a few things sharpen the likeness before the ochre goes on top.

  1. Even, soft lightStand near a window with indirect daylight on your face. The pack builds its own Provençal sun on top; a flat, well-lit selfie gives it the clearest face to work from.
  2. Front or three-quarter angleCamera at eye level, facing it or turned slightly. No selfie-stick uplook, no shot from below — the pack's framing is editorial, and a distorted source fights it.
  3. Face fully clearHair off the face, no hats, sunglasses or filters in the source photo. A clear, front-facing photo is the best input for an AI portrait.
  4. Avoid a strong colour castDon't shoot your selfie under a coloured lamp or against a saturated wall. This is a monochrome outfit photoshoot in one hue — a neutral source face keeps the ochre reading as ochre.
  5. A composed expressionThe register favours a warm, sun-eased look over a stiff pose. A natural expression blends more naturally into travel-editorial frames.

Frequently asked questions

Will it actually look like a real photograph?
Yes. The output is photoreal — a Provençal travel-editorial photograph, not a painting or an illustration — built from the documented details of the register: a golden-ochre linen dress on the cliff path under low raking sun, a corduroy jacket on a village step in warm bounced shade, a burnt-ochre silk slip at the old ochre works under high roof-gap light.
Is this a real photo of Roussillon, or of me?
It's a portrait of you. The pack borrows the quarry's ochre, its light and the wardrobe that suits them as a costume and visual reference; every frame is generated from your own uploaded face. It is not a documented photograph of Roussillon with you standing in it.
What's the difference between the free preview and the full pack?
The free preview is one photo from your uploaded face, shown live in seconds so you can judge the likeness before you commit. The full pack is nine photos across the three takes — the cliff path, the village step, the old ochre works — with different crops, expressions and light.
How is this different from an ochre filter or a colour preset?
A filter tints the photo you already have; every colour in the frame shifts and the picture goes flat. Here the scene is dressed to the wardrobe before the shutter: the ochre is in the cliff, in the linen and in the shadow, and the separation comes from texture and light rather than a slider. That's what a tone on tone outfit needs to read at all.
Can men use this pack?
The styling and sample set are built for women — a linen dress, a work apron, a silk slip — so it reads feminine. A men's version isn't shipped in this pack.
What if my source photo isn't great?
One clear phone selfie is usually enough. The free preview shows you the likeness in seconds — if it's off, the prep tips above are the fastest fix, and lighting is the most common culprit.
Can I use this as a profile picture or on a dating app?
Yes. A single saturated hue reads instantly at thumbnail size, which is exactly what a profile grid rewards. Used honestly, as a stylised AI photoshoot rather than a claim of a real trip, it works well on any profile.
What happens to the photo I upload?
Your photo is processed on European servers to generate your preview and, if you continue, your full pack. It is not sold or shared with third parties.
Can I use it for a moodboard, a print or a gift?
Personal use like this is fine — a keepsake print, a moodboard for a trip you're actually planning, a gift for someone who loves Provence. It isn't licensed for commercial resale.
Do I need to visit the ochre quarries for this?
No. The pack builds the wardrobe and the setting around your uploaded face. Assembling a real ochre-on-ochre look and travelling to the Luberon is the expensive part of tonal dressing; that's exactly what the photoshoot supplies.

When the Roussillon Ochre pack fits

  • For a feed that needs one saturated, unmistakable colour instead of another neutral portrait
  • For a profile picture that reads at thumbnail size because it is essentially one hue
  • For anyone who has walked the Sentier des Ocres and photographed the cliffs instead of themselves
  • For a Provence travel-editorial look without booking the trip
  • For a wall print where the ochre does the decorating
  • For a moodboard or vision board built around ochre and tonal dressing
  • For a gift for someone who reveres the Luberon's autumn light
  • For a dating profile photo that is striking without reading as costume
  • For a phone or desktop wallpaper with real pigment depth in it
  • For anyone who has ever wanted to disappear into a colour and leave only their face showing

About narcis

Most AI portrait tools ship every pose, profession, era, and aesthetic in one giant catalog. The output looks like every other AI photo on the internet — a glaze over a stock face. Narcis goes the other way. One tool, one job: turn photos of you into portraits worth keeping. Drop a selfie and your free preview streams in seconds — a quick sketch: close, not you yet. For portraits that are truly you, train your own model on 12 to 20 photos; it trains in the background, and we email you when it is ready. Train once, render everywhere — this pack, every other pack, and the Studio all come out of that one model, about ten seconds a portrait, and it stays yours to retrain or delete. Each pack is hand-curated against actual references — paintings, photographers, registers — and tested on real faces before it ships. See a free preview before you pay, not after. Packs are one-time — no subscription to buy one; Studio, the unlimited composer, is optional at €12/month and every pack includes 30 days of it. No template generator. Built and run by one team, on our own infrastructure.
