The look of the pack

In the far south, a highland town of single-storey houses with tiled roofs is painted in ochre, red, blue, green and white along cobbled streets. A cathedral of yellow and red stucco stands at the end of them, pine hills close round, mornings are cold, and the light is clear and thin.
