What image sizes does the upscaler accept?

It works best on small or low-resolution images — thumbnails, icons, old scans — where it recovers real detail. Everyday photos are accepted too and downscaled to a bounded working size (output tops out around 2048×2048 px). Very large files — over 25 MB or very high resolution — are refused; resize those first.

What is the difference between 2× and 4× upscaling?

2× doubles each side of your image. 4× quadruples it. Both use AI to reconstruct fine detail rather than blurring. 4× takes a little longer and produces a much larger file — use it when you need maximum enlargement.

Will it sharpen my blurry image?

Upscaling and sharpening are related but different. Upscaling enlarges the image while recovering expected detail. If your image is motion-blurred or heavily compressed, try the Unblur Photo tool first, then upscale.
