The Painted Hills register

Valparaiso is a port of forty hills, with corrugated-iron houses painted yellow, blue, red, green and white stacked up the slopes, funicular lifts, stairways and murals above the Pacific. The pack keeps the five colours at the proportions the slopes show them, yellow and blue dominant. The sitter wears two of them, a blue linen suit over a yellow blouse.
