Volver is Pedro Almodovar's film of a village in La Mancha and a family of women: whitewashed walls, red-tiled floors, a Madrid working suburb, a red cardigan, a floral apron, hair in a chignon. This pack photographs that red today, with the sitter as the daughter who came back.
