The Azure Island register

Gozo is the small sister island of Malta, with pale limestone cliffs, salt pans cut into the rock and a sea so clear that it reads azure over white sand and deep blue over rock. At the inland sea a tunnel in the cliff opens to the open water, and divers gather there. The pack puts the marine biologist on the cliffs in an azure linen shirt under a pale blue cotton jacket.
