The Hatsumode register
This pack draws on the first shrine visit of the year: a furisode in red and gold at Fushimi Inari's vermilion gates, the ema and omikuji, amazake steam, and snow on the torii. The value is the kimono as the whole composition — the sleeves' fall and the obi's knot as architecture, the gates' red answering the silk's.
Photographically the register is a tunnel of vermilion torii in frontal perspective, warm ema-wall closeups, and low-sun dawn framing on the shrine's stone steps — three genuine facets of a Hatsumode visit, not one look moved between three rooms.
