A Hill House Photoshoot
Nine photos of you in one setting
How your model is created from your photos
Every pack on Narcis, made with your face
Nine photographs of you in one setting: one pack of the Narcis catalogue.
Nine photographs of you, styled after The Haunting of Hill House — a black Victorian gown before the red door, a white nightdress on the spiral stair, the same gown among white marble statues at dusk, in portrait format. The nine vary in crop, expression and light, so there are real choices, not nine identical files.

The Hill House register
This pack draws on The Haunting of Hill House — a house not sane, standing by itself against its hills: the red room, the spiral stair, the statue garden, the 1990s summer a family fled. The value is the house's own geometry, nothing quite level.
Photographically the register is doorway-within-doorway framing, lit by a window far off — dusty black silk, dark wood, one red door, statue-marble white. The palette runs black silk, dark wood, red door, statue white, window grey.
Three looks carry the pack: the black Victorian gown before the red door at the corridor's end, a white 1990s nightdress on the spiral stair with a candle, and the black gown among white marble statues at dusk. Three genuine scenes from the house, not one dress restaged.
The output is photoreal — a real-looking photograph of you in that world, not a screen still. It's a costume portrait; it isn't a depiction of any character or actor from the show, and it doesn't claim to be.
How to photograph yourself for a Hill House photoshoot
Better source photos make better portraits.
- Even, soft lightStand near a window with indirect daylight on your face. The pack builds its own candlelight or window grey on top — a flat, well-lit selfie gives it the clearest face to work from.
- Front or three-quarter angleCamera at eye level, facing it or turned slightly to three-quarter. No selfie-stick uplook, no shot from below.
- Face fully clearHair off the face, no hats, sunglasses, or filters in the source photo. A clear, front-facing photo is the best input for an AI portrait.
- A composed expressionThe register favors a still, watchful look over a big grin — a calm expression blends more naturally into the frames.
- Plain background is fineDon't worry about your own backdrop — the pack's three settings replace it entirely. A plain wall behind you just helps the model focus on your face.
Frequently asked questions
- Will it actually look like a real photograph?
- Yes. The output is photoreal, built from the documented register: the black gown before the red door, the nightdress on the spiral stair, the gown among the statues.
- Is this a real depiction of a character from The Haunting of Hill House, or of me?
- It's a portrait of you. The pack borrows the show's wardrobe and settings as a costume and visual reference; every frame is a portrait of you and doesn't depict any actor or character from the show.
- Can men use this pack?
- The styling and sample set are built for women — the Victorian gown and nightdress among them — so it reads feminine.
- Can I use this for a themed party invitation or profile picture?
- Yes — it's a striking, well-composed portrait that reads well on either, used honestly as a stylised AI photoshoot.
- Do I need an actual Victorian wardrobe for this to work?
- You don't need any of it in real life.
- Will the photos look like me?
- Every photo looks like you, well photographed. If one is nearly right, say what to change, in your own words.
- Do I have to write a prompt?
- No. There is nothing to write: you pick a pack, and it is ready in seconds.
- How many photos of myself do I add?
- Between six and twenty, from different days and in different light, with your face clear. We check each one when you add it.
- What happens to the photos I add?
- They are used only to create your model, on our own servers in the European Union. They are not shared and not sold.

About narcis
Most AI photo tools put every pose, job, era, and style in one giant catalog. The photos all look like every other AI photo on the internet — a glaze over a stock face. Narcis goes the other way. One job: photos of you that look like photographs. You add at least 6 photos of yourself, and we create your AI model from them. Your photos are ready in a few hours, and we email you when they are. Then this pack and every other pack on Narcis can be made with your face. Each pack is curated against real references — paintings, photographers, places — and tested on real faces before it goes live. Built and run by one small team, on our own servers.
