The register spans late-eighties Eastmancolor and Manmohan Singh's Alpine light: a white chiffon sari glowing translucent in the sun, a blue chiffon sari soaked and clinging in artificial rain.

One frame runs her down an Alpine meadow toward the lens, the white chiffon sari's pallu flying, snow and wildflowers behind. A second stands her in falling stage rain, the blue chiffon sari soaked and clinging, face lifted into the water. A third stands her in a Madras temple courtyard in a gold-bordered silk sari, jasmine in her plaited hair.
