This pack is one of Etiquette's royal court photoshoot series — the young couple in Winterhalter's light at Osborne and Windsor in the 1840s, the queen who turned the monarchy into a family portrait. Photographically the register is early Victorian court dress — a gown of white silk with a low off-the-shoulder neckline and a lace bertha over a bell skirt, dark hair in smooth side bands with a diamond diadem, or the gold-brocade Plantagenet costume for the Bal Costume. The palette runs white, blue, gold, rose, and Osborne cream.
