The Chambray Sky register
This pack borrows its register from a shirtmaker's back room in late morning — chambray on the bolt, on the table, on the hanging rail, the lighter cousin of denim: a blue warp and a white weft plain-woven into a faded sky with a fine white frost across it. The wardrobe is chambray from collar to hem — a shirt dress, a boiler suit over a tee, a blouse with wide trousers — and the room is chambray too, so the picture reads as one washed blue with the face the room's one warm note.
