This pack borrows its register from a stone sheepfold at dawn: sheepskin tanned with the fleece on, one cream on the wool side and a slightly deeper cream on the suede side, worn beside the animals it came from. The wardrobe is shearling from collar to boot — a coat with the fleece collar up, a flight jacket, a waistcoat and wool trousers — against a cream flock and frosted stone walls, so the picture reads as one cream at every depth with the face its only other colour.
